New CEO Gets To Try To Turn Sprint Around

Sprint's had a rocky few years. This merger is kind of the same situation — the phone you have in your hands will probably work just fine throughout its normal life even if the name of the company you pay each month changes. I have already planned to move my account to different service once my contract is over.

T-Mobile has an innate ability to fix that and the company's knack for attracting customers means investors and executives aren't afraid to sink money into equipment that makes the difference. These phones do not work well at all and we would have switched back to our previous cellular service however we had given our phones to SPRINT as an exchange.

Sprint customer service department is completely useless, unknowledgeable and they don't tell the truth. Sprint International Connect: Call & Text - For $15 per month, you can enjoy calls to more than 60 countries with no per-minute fees. In the 2013 J.D. Power Customer Experience Survey , Sprint fell to third place, with many customers' service affected by the tumultuous changes at the head of the company - a merger with Softbank and the acquisition of Clearwire.

To make matters worse, a recent Consumer Reports survey named Sprint the worst customer service provider for the phone industry - for the second year in a row. It's a great idea for Sprint and T-Mobile shareholders, and it could even lead to better service for consumers.

After the mental anguish Sprint put me through, they should give me free phones and free service for life. It didn't work, and I called customer service to ask why. It is absolutely infuriating to go from a great company like Nextel Bad customer service to a company like Sprint in hopes that Nextel's great service and customer care has influenced the merger.

Sprint's ACSI customer satisfaction rating was an industry-worst 61 in 2007. While Sprint seemed to'”in your responses'”be at least courteous and above board about their issues, T-Mobile apparently doesn't have the resources for stellar customer service or infrastructure investment.

However, due to the frequencies used by Sprint, many Sprint-locked phones have trouble operating on other carriers. For years, Sprint has had a reputation for poor customer service and poor network coverage, and as a result, the company is suffering. After paying, I called in again and was told the service had been cancelled.

Even if carriers don't charge overage fees on unlimited plans, they will slow service when you reach a certain amount of data. Adding the human element to the mix can be hit-or-miss, though: Sprint's reps could stand to be a little better-informed about what services and features their employer offers.

There are a lot of phones, 20 million on Sprint specifically, that work with both networks, and can take advantage of this new arrangement now. Consequently, their customers could see coverage and data speeds improve as a result of the combined network postmerger.

That's a super impressive deal, especially if you have kids, your kids have phones, and you're the one paying the phone bill. I'm disappointed in Sprint and I'm disappointed in all the writers ganging up on their customers. We can hope that they did investigate to see if some of these repeat calls were caused by problems that they should be correcting and not just unreasonable or inept customers.

Sprint Direct2You” brings the same store experience into a customer's home or office. To fix this particular problem, the company should make this roaming option and all other additions to sprint plans possible online. Wireless networks will typically want you to have your account or device information ready before being connected to a live representative.
